Radio blog is done. Maybe some tweaks here and there as I see them but all the old content and every activation and photos etc. are all in. I like it. Which is good as I spent a while on it!

Tonight I should edit my last video, as I try to release one each Friday but I’ve missed that. Then I’m not sure what I’m going to have Claude work on next. Have to consult my list as I’ve forgotten half the things.

Been feeling like I want to put more effort into paper notebooks. Although that manifests itself as buying notebooks, which is also fine. Plus maybe a new pen… back looking at those lochby pouch things for mini notebooks and pens and the X3 and whatever.

I also want a Buffalo jacket or mountain shirt. But they’re expensive and I’m not quite sure what size to get. Think I measure between two sizes and supposedly with the shirt you want it close fitting as you’re meant to wear it on its own against your skin. Which seems crazy but that’s what it says and what the Internet agrees with. I suppose I could order both and then try each on. I did look at second hand ones as they’re pricy but the sizing thing again. Also do I want a secondhand one?

I’m thinking about a drummer remake and use it here, although I like just writing in a plain text file. Anyway maybe I’ll do it for fun. Probably want it entirely self contained, ie everything on github, github actions to rebuild it and hosted on github pages. Mostly so other people could use it with no effort of hosting, if they didn’t want to.

Oh actually, I have my streamlit apps to migrate to JavaScript and embed in my radio site. Although I’m sure that’ll only take 30 minutes to sort out.

I went out with Fraser this week and when I dropped him at home, I went in for a cup of tea. Normally go in his house but they’re having a new kitchen put in so we went in “the bothy” which is a little building next to their house which they’ve made into a living room. It’s very cosy, and it has their TV and Fraser’s computer and radio setup. In the house they only have the hifi, no other computers or screens. A hifi and a log burner. Their house is also a wee cottage so everything is cosy. I just really like the separation of screens into a literal other building. I like it a lot. Also he has a reel to reel. 📽️
