Happy Halloween! 🎃🍭

I’ve restored this site to my original one. I liked my original design and it was mostly complete, so instead of the Claude made zola site, I’m back here on good old jekyll.

I found this on my computer so was easy to do, just a little bit of remembering how it was all pieced together. I had considered going to tiddlywiki for this but I like typing into markdown files rather than the tiddlywiki web interface. Plus I have this already. Whilst I want one thing to do it all, I quite like compartmentalising applications to a specific job. This is my journal / ramblings / thinking in the open space. It’s good for me to empty my mind into it. I may not be good for you to read it though!

I’ve always said I wanted to expand the site and add other things but I’m not sure if I really do. I slimmed it down a while back, so not sure about that one either. It’s not really setup for pictures but so far that hasn’t bothered me.

Also I’ve cancelled my pika subscription on my main site. I have a few more days before it runs out, so I’m going to migrate elsewhere…or something…Not really sure what. I’m leaning towards putting the wiki on my main domain and then focusing on blogging on the radio one, as that’s my main content beyond this. But I’m sure I’ll change my mind 100 times beforehand.

I keep thinking of things to do with claude code, but I’ve yet to actually subscribe. Probably I should get it to help me with this and other sites. I’m just not sure if I’d get my money’s worth, once I tweak a few things then what? I’m debating about making drummer clone or various apps to help write posts easier but will I? I suppose I should just join for one month and then cancel once I don’t need it. Can always sign up again. Maybe if I added a little CW icon or tick or whatever meta data at the top of each day showing if I did or didn’t do my CW practice then I’d get both value from claude and actually do my practice.

Also this site gets built on gopher and hosted here: gopher://sdf.org:70/1/users/tee should you need a weird way to access it. However, I do enjoy how it looks in the Lagrange gopher/gemini client.
